I hate furniture stores
This wknd has been such an utter hassle and aggravation cuz of stupid furniture people. Here's the preview of what this wknd was suppose to be: well my mom had gotten me a diningroom set from Rooms to Go and I had ordered a living room and bedroom set from Ashley's Furniture.... both of these were done back on 5/29 all set for delivery on 6/17 (

I resent any comments concerning the employees working at any furniture companies. Even tho big companies like Ashleys and Rooms to Go suck ass. Dont ever go to those places again, their so big youd have more luck getting better customer service at walmart.
Come to Bombay. We go out of our way to make you happy and can look up the availability of the product the moment you decide you like it. You order is then prepaid and if its ordered from the store and not the catalog you pay no shipping because your order comes to our store. If theres a problem, your prepaid card is pulled and you are immediately contacted as soon as we get the info. If a part of your purchase is damaged, we will replace it or the damaged piece at no cost to you (thats the beauty of our system, larger pieces come in anywhere from 2 to 6 boxes so a damaged piece is easy to order.
The only thing is we dont have the money to hire personel to do delivery and assembly for guests, but at our store people usually pay a little extra to one of our stock guys for that. But then there are also a lot of people who like to put the pieces together themselves (some kind of bizarre rich people bonding ritual...i dont know). I put hte bed i ordered together with clare and it was actually very easy, but then again...i put this stuff together everyday and the hardest thing ive encountered so far would be the bunk/loft beds.
If you dont believe that at Bombay the customer comes before anything else....ask Clare. She buys our stuff all the time. Of course....she bought our biggest heaviest bed off the floor....the ONLY bed with in home delivery because its so big and heavy. ~_~ That bed was a pain in the ass to put together....of course....it would have gone faster if we werent laughing so much and if we had started at the headboard instead of the footboard O_O.
I know furniture. I get quizzed on it daily. If you have any questions at all please ask me. I can also fix minor damage on a lot of furniture (loves outlet and consignment shopping). NOt sure what style you went with but i shall leave you the almighty bombay website for your browsing pleasure. ^_^
