$3000 down, a ton more to go
well yesterday I signed the intention contract and gave $3000. Still working on my mortgage as I should be able to get it, but it's just a question of where I get it. I had gotten started with e-loan, and they preapproved me for $300,000 at 6.25%, but my uncle knows a mortgager whom he's gone through multiple times and had good things to say about her, so I agreed to speak with her to see what she has to say. I'm not gonna do anything more past her though, cuz i know that a credit score can go down if too many people check it. BTW, for those curious, my score is 770. Pretty cool, I have to say ^_^. So once this mortgage dilemna is finished, then it's back to working often at work to make money for that deposit. I'm likely to either get hit with that extra insurance (b/c I don't have the 20% for the deposit) or I might do a 2nd mortgage which they call a piggyback so avoid that charge, apparently that route is cheaper dollarwise than the extra insurance charge. We'll see how it plays out.
Also Megacon is closing in and I have to decide which kind of pass I want. I can't decide if i should do the wknd (which I usually do) or the 1 day pass. the 1 day is cheaper, but I'm wondering what I would do on those days I don't have the pass, b/c that might get boring. Granted I have school work as well, but still, i have to decide so any input on that, please share away cuz i gotta get that pass preregged soon.
