Smug. That is the best word I think to describe him. It encapsulates him. It summarizes and explains him.  It gives him the image of power. That he has the ability to be smug despite his faults. He carries his power with him on his sleeve.

He is oh so very very smug.

And jealous.

And foolish.

And aggravating.

And intelligent.

And blasphemous.

And sarcastic.

And self serving.

And insidious.

And scheming.

And duplicitous.

And arrogant.

He just might be the best ventrue I have met in over five hundred years.

Well... the second best.
