An interesting article about drag, but i don't see why the author chose to conflate his conclusions about drag queens with transgender people in general. Drag queens have an entirely different set of motivations and a very different experience and perspective.

My girlfriend used to participate in the ISCS as a crown prince to various drag empresses. She definitely experienced a sense that females were considered subordinate there.

I saw quite a bit of misogyny among the drag queens i've known. It wasn't ubiquitous of course, but it was notable and sometimes prominent.

We can be careful not to tell others how they ought to live as the same could happen to us. We can live and let live & work with compassion. It's healthier in the long run to change self and allow those personal changes to emanate into the world.
Yelling at people, judging accusing, ranting and raving may feel good for the ranter in the moment, but, really, it's not creating lasting change.

Judging others situations, choices, etc. trying to control that which is not yours to control, can cause frustration, anger. Anger can be so tiring it often leads to depression (anger turned inward) eventually...

Deciding one way is the only way and one opinion is right making all others wrong is what we learned from the patriarchy.

Compassion for self first, then compassion for others comes more easily.

Maybe compassion is a bad idea...giving it a chance is just a suggestion.
