X: Day 1
Slept.
Slept more.
Listened to Rathmann axemurder the bunk bed. Repeatedly.
And *then* he woke up.
Went to the Imperial Palace, caught Tim's show. It featured an entirely different cast, and lineup. Jackie Wilson, Celine Dion, Prince, Whitney Houston, the Blues Brothers, and Elvis. Celine Dion sucks both in real life, and in impersonator form. I pondered going all Phantom of the Opera and descending from the lighting booth, wearing a mask made of dead lighting technician (Tim) and armed with the most powerful weapon availible: Rathmann's severed head. Fortunately for the cast and crew, but unfortunately for my sanity, I did not murder her on-stage for the benefit of the patrons.
Everyone else was excellent, except Elwood Blues, who can only be listed as "Very Good." I remember seeing this particuliar Elwood and Jake down in Universal Studios in Florida - I remember that Craptastic (with a capital C) voice. Good show.
Dickered around with a couple of songs, we'll work on them more now that we're back.
