MARATHON GAME
Wow. Just got done with Conquering the Stars. Started at 2:30 PM. o_O See behind the cut for the gory details.
So the party starts off in the unnamed Neko village, takes a communal badge in various states of embarassment, and then gets guided to the entrance to the way to the city they're going to. Everyone but Luka and the guide sees a crumbling rock face, those two see a cave entrance. The illusions continue inside in the pillar room, where it looks like the floor is only 40 feet down. Instead of the who knows how far. The solution for that, btw is:
< Gee-Emm> Also, in the following picture, o's are collapsing pillars, the - is a special one whose middle collapses, exposing a ring of sharp metal to cut off the fingers of those with quick fingers.

Vice got the party across that pretty easily, don't mind the swarm of tiny black things rebuilding the traps. Then they got to the Revolver Room. Which threw everyone but Vice for a loop. He eventually figured it out and the party moved on. The idea is that half of the 'bridge' rotates to a new door every time the party walks across it.
The west hall was trapped - moving the ruby from its place would allow the rays of light to focus through the statue and catch the rugs on fire. The pit trap led to a lower level with the way blocked by a thick growth of vines - cutting those vines would trigger a roof collapse as the plant they're attached to rears up in pain.
Luka was supposed to grab that key - it'd burn anyone but a Dwarf. The bedrolls are... well we'll leave that as a suprise for next week.
The party met the Devil, Vequious today. He was doing some heavy-duty mind-messing on Elena. It's just like old times for Conquering the Stars. I hope the "2.5" thing makes some more sense now, things are going in a new direction, or at least the door for it is there.
