Modding Crusader Kings 2

Jul 16, 2012 12:54

The game seems to have turned into something of a major time eater for me (it is pretty fun...) and I had the terrible idea to try to make a mod for it.

Things I know so far:

1) How to make new characters.
2) How to edit who holds a title at any time via the history files.
3) How to add new cultures.

Witness the fruits of my labor!

And as the image hints, I'll be basing the Mod on Serigo's OLAD campaign. Lots and lots to do. I've got to make a map, figure out the various polities involved, get all the appropriate personalities put into the game, and so on. It's a big job. A big big job.

Which is why I'm going to start relatively small and mod Irish counties one at a time to be what I need them to be. I also need to look into religions and how to mod all sorts of other details. I probably will never finish the whole thing, but it will be a fun project to work on.
