Sooo....hi.
Now this is an annual thing that I do, mainly so I can look back on it and say "Oh yeah, that's where my summer went!" This summer is particularly odd for me, seeing as I will be completely graduated from college come August. I'm simultaneously free and not, since there's a pesky Spanish class that must be taken to fulfill graduation requirements. To make things even more interesting, I walk and do all of my celebrating in the next few days and they withhold my diploma until sometime after August. (December is my guess.)
So all this strange-ness aside, today was been largely uneventful. I slept something like 13 hours today. No idea why. But it felt good, so not a bad thing. I've also been reading my new favorite book series, an early-Regency creature involving flowery spies. Not a great description, but they're charming and I have a definite weakness for historical fiction. There was also tea and the crack-cookies. (There's a company in England called Lotus that makes these "carmelised biscuits." They're like crack, they're so good! A company called Biscoff makes them here in the States. You've probably had them on an airplane. I think Delta's the one that feeds you cookies. It was an incredibly excellent day when I discovered them in Walmart of all places. The Imported aisle is win!)
Later on today (tonight?) I'm meeting up with
chaoticdemon for our weekly crafting/exploring/culinary/shopping adventures. So between then and now, I think I'm going to start on my long-overdue frankenpolish experiment. Yay for free time!
