I've been doing a better job of posting new entries lately - not so much here, but on my
updated website, where I finally managed to find the time to get my blog interface set up. Why I decided to create my own system rather than using any of the vastly superior alternatives like blogger, wordpress, or movable type will forever remain a mystery. I'm not actually a masochist at heart, just a programmer (granted, it can be difficult to tell the difference sometimes).
Life in Scotland is completely crazy. My job is challenging and fun in equal measure, but the fun/challenge ratio of everything else here has been less favorable. At some point, I still hope to be able to muster the energy to be more descriptive.
For now, I'll leave you with this little slice o' life in Dundee:
As I was walking home from work the other day with Erin, we began to hear somebody coming up behind us who was loudly and unabashedly singing along to a song on their headphones. Even without turning around, we could tell that the singer was male, but because of his thick brogue it was difficult to discern the lyrics he was singing. As he got closer, it become clear that the song he was proudly regaling the world with was "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?" by Rod Stewart. That alone would be awesome enough, but it was made even better when Erin and I had the same response, which was to immediately think of this:
