Sunday- home around 6:30 did not eat dinner, bed at 8ish
Monday- worked all day, got home around 6:30, did some washing, cleaned the bathroom, checked e-mails. Did not have dinner, went to Adams.
Tuesday-(day off)Adams
Wednesday- (day off)Adam, came back to mine for dinner, I offered to cook “no it’s okay there’s enough food”
Thursday- (day off) did the food shopping for the house, did not eat at home
Friday- Worked, got home, offered to cook dinner, got everything out then parents decided to go out for dinner. This was good however as I was expected elsewhere.
Saturday- Worked, got home went to family shindig. Stayed the night at Adams
Sunday- Got a call at 6:00 to ask if mum was cooking for me, I said “if that’s okay, if not I’ll organise myself” Get home around 6:45 “mum do you need a hand with anything?”
“no, It’s all set *smiles*”
So I come in here and sit down, check my e-mails, catch up on everything as I’ve not checked anything since Monday. Mum comes in “Janey you have to start pulling your own weight around here”

Dinners here= 2
So.
As I’ve only been doing three days a week (my mum works five days a fortnight) I need to pick up some more hours or get a second job so I can be ‘proper full time’. Then On top of working ‘full time’….
I need to (once a week)
Bathroom
Cook dinner three times a week
Vacuum downstairs and upstairs (upstairs has always been mum and dads area)
Sweep outside paving
Wash the dog (this usually gets done once every three months but now will be done every week)
Oh yeah and mum wants me to wash all the cars every two weeks….
Chores I’m cool with
-Bathroom
-Vacuum DOWNSTAIRS ONLY
-dinner twice, not three times. Especially when I’m not even here that often to eat
-wash the dog once a month, no more.
- the only reason the paving needs to be done is because mum tipped a few buckets of sand over them to level them but never finished the job…. Yet they want me to do it once a week.
I know it’s petty but when you consider I’m barely here
