I'd kill for some delivery right about now...

I think this is the most quiet to ever hit downtown Los Angeles, thanks to Dr. Springfield. The authorities have cordoned off a good quarter-mile radius, giving a lot of folks a well-deserved day off.

Hadrian and the boy are dealing with the handful of Wolfram & Hart employees still in the building. I figure, let them have their fun. They've been cooped up for a while...they should stretch their legs.

Which leaves me alone with the Senior Partners up here in the White Room.

Or is it "down here"? Pretty easy to get disoriented here, I guess.

This ritual's gonna take a while. Incantation after incantation, and that's just to wear down the defenses before the coup de grace. The one down side to sealing off the building? No Pizza Hut. I'm gonna be starving in a little while.

The Powers are probably really pissed right now. Surely they know what's going on. I mean, if Angel and his pet monkeys can figure out how to break through to my dimension, then the blinders must be off all over by now. And boy, I bet they're steamed that it was just their lowly little prison guard who managed to pull all this off.

Not much anyone can do at this point, but hey, it's always nice to be noticed.

I'd also bet good money that Angel's gonna come charging in soon, axes swinging, to try to stop me. He's stubborn, the vampire. The Powers are predictable like that. "Send the Champion, he'll take care of it."

Umm, not this time.

Their time is done. Along with everyone else's.

I will miss pizza, though.
