[Scarrport] Revisited...

Don't exactly know why, but yesterday I picked up my printed pdf copy* of Scarrport (a D&D 4e setting) and began to reread it.

You know, I really, really, like this setting (ah, duh, I've done a This Is Not A Review on it - and I even did a conversion to Mini Six for it!) but I wonder if I will ever game or run an adventure based in it? To be honest, I think the ideas and concepts it focuses on are much better fodder for a story than a RPG setting, and if I did ever run a game based in the setting it would probably not meet the expectations I've already setting for it...

On such relections I suppose I should just enjoy the setting for what it's worth, and for the fact that I got to spend a hour or so lounging around reading it yesteday (pure bliss!)

*Why my printed pdf copy as opposed to the print copy I got earlier this year? The print copy is B&W only, which is very disappointing, especially as the colour really adds to the setting.
