He drops his sword and coughs up a small amount of blood before he ultimately slumps onto the ground. Well, now Youko has blood stains on his carpet.]

Never attack an enemy from the rear. It's horribly dishonorable, and makes you look like a fool. If you're not confident enough to attack from the front or sides, you need a different target.
