More character dump
Sitting here being completely unproductive I started trying to think up some new character.
Decided I would dump some character ideas into this blog.
One character I thought up has the ability to see 10 seconds into the future. If this as a modern day setting rp I thought to make her a photographer were she would secretly use this ability. These future vision would be limited to only so many times a day or week, depending on the GM’s preference. Additionally the future could only be viewed if she was actually able to see the area. For example if you blind fold her she can’t see the future or if something was happening next door she can’t see through the wall. I thought it would make fighting really interesting and likewise she could become a very important plot device. The difficult thing is I don’t have any other idea to really flesh her out. Also I’m not sure this would work so much in a fantasy setting. Then there’s the biggest problem of most people flat out not liking her ability as “god moding”.
The second character I’ve been thinking about making is either zombie, or a person that likes to stick things to their body. Can’t decide if I want her to be dead or just a patch work of things. Anyways she’s also a medic, able to put other people together, and basically fixing people. She also has some dead cat she brought back to life through similar means. This would be a kind girl, but a little bit crazy at times, getting over zealous with theories on how to make a person “better” by stitching them up. The character would never get violent (hopefully) but she could make things pretty awkward. Not sure if this would be a really likeable character though. Not to mention trying to figure out how to hit her not chat themes. Also I can’t think of many offensive abilities to keep her out of real danger.
