Hehe, I'm so proud of myself
--Today was a pretty productive day. I got on the exercise bike and I practiced dancing a bit. But what I'm really proud of is the fact that I figured out what to do with all the nail polish that I bought from the thrift store that's too watered down for me to actually use... Heh. I must be crazy, but it looks an awful lot like enamel. Not like the enamel on your teeth, but if you've ever seen a piece of pottery or something with enamel-working on it, that's what I'm talking about. Well, I've already used up most of my silver on a belt buckle that I bought from the thrift store (attached to a belt of course). The silver paint, or whatever they used, on the belt was coming off and it kind of had a more coppery color than I really wanted, so I went ahead and painted over it with the silver nailpolish, and I must say, it doesn't look half bad. I may even attempt to wear it tomorrow at Twelfth Night. I also managed to make a bundt cake for the affair. All I need to do is figure out what kind of icing to put on it (pretty much depends on what's available in the fridge). I was afraid I had used too much water for it...because I spaced out and couldn't remember how much I put in, so I countered it with extra Hershey cocoa. It seems to have turned out alright, I just hope it cooked all the way through. In anycase it looks good, and it smells good so no worries there. I'll be leaving with GnomeDaddy for the Community Center at 9:30 to help set up and everything...not to mention I'm gonna watch his stuff while he gets RedHairedSaxon and Leather Dragon and rusn some errands or whatever. Call me crazy but I'm Uber-excited even though it's only a small event and what not. I'm gonna be wearing some new garb and I must say it doesn't look half bad. My mom fucked up on the shirt though, so I'm just gonna wear one of my dresses like a chemise, it'll work out. That way I can just wear the dress without all the over stuff until it's time for the actual festivities and what not. That's all for now. So I guess if you have any nail polish you don't use anymore you can give it to me. :D
