--Since I've started my work out regimen I haven't lost weight so much as rearranged it. I started out at 237 and I am now down to a "slender" 230. Over about a month. So I'm losing about a pound a week. However, this is not what's cool about my weight loss/working out. In only a month I've gone from being winded by walking up two flights of stairs to being able to practically run up them with no problem, and probably make it up another two with a little extra breathing. I can walk 3+ miles in a day again (as evidenced by my venture to the Black Swamp Arts Festival sans car) with absolutely no problem, especially if fueled by a piece of chocolate dipped frozen cheesecake.
--Now...as I mentioned, I haven't lost a lot of weight. What I HAVE lost is a lot of fat. I couldn't tell you exactly how much because I have no accurate way of measuring fat content, but there's a LOT more definition in my legs, particularly my calves, oh holy hell. I'm even starting to get a little bit of definition in my rectus femoris (that big bulky muscles directly above the knee). This is kind of cool, because I've never had a lot of muscle there, even though I'm used to have fairly muscular legs, no seriously, my gams are awesome. My arms have slimmed and toned a bit, not that you can tell because I do still have more fat on there than I would like, but I've always had bulky arms. My stomach as flattened a bit, but once again there's a lot of work to do there. My butt, *sigh* butt is completely gone. It's really sad, that was the one thing I linked about being chunkier is having a bit of a curve back there, now it's just a straight drop down to my feet. If it wasn't for my gut I would have nothing to keep my pants on...then again if I didn't have my gut I could wear a belt without wearing out the leather in 2 months. Trade offs. Also...my face has lost SO much weight. If you just took a picture of my face, you wouldn't think I was a fat girl at all. My neck has even slimmed down. Yeah I know, wtf body.
--So yeah, these are all cool things. I like watching and feeling my body change, I like having more energy and being able to do things longer and be more active. I'm still fat, I'm still okay with that, but I like what I'm seeing. And I'm okay with the idea of always being fat, but this is definitely a good change for me.
