walking and stuff

--So, I've started walking to work/taking the bus. It's a pretty decent walk to work, probably about the same as when I was living in Syracuse. Granted, now I don't have to walk uphill both ways to get home and there's no old bickering British couple to come home to. So yeah, that's been good. I'm going to try to back on the whole driving thing as much as possible. Riding the bus is free for Kent students (i.e. I already pay for it with tuition) so there's no reason not to use it. Also, Kent has a surprisingly reliable and user friendly bus system...although if more than one bus shows up at the same time you still have to ask what the next stop is going to be.

--In further news, I'm pretty sure the professor I just had is an idiot. He reduced fractions on our papers rather than giving everyone percentages. So while I had a 19/20 on my research paper, some of my classmates got 9/10s... Also, we got 9.2/10 (as an example) on the exams. And after checking my email, he apparently thanked us for "making a businy time a pleasure." Whatever that means. Well I'm glad he enjoyed talking about Vietnam, because I don't think any of us liked it. Worst class I've taken at Kent, by far. Will never take another class with this professor, I don't care if I have to attend for another semester because of it.
