Battery+Ice=Turny, Turny, No Starty

--I had to call roadside a-freakin-ssistance tonight because my car battery wanted to stay in bed. Now, granted I had let the car sit for a little while, but not long enough that I thought it wouldn't start again. I turned off the engine at maybe...oh crap I didn't take my car to the gaming group. Okay, I take it back, it's totally my fault. I hadn't started the car since Friday and here I am expecting to hop in my car and whirl off and go wherever I want on a Monday. Douche-baggery. Will not make that mistake again. Gotcha.
--Mildly annoyed that my room mate was all...oh well, just call roadside assistance instead of being like, here use my keys to jump start your car. I mean, she made a brief effort but then was like, "Uh...my car is old and the hood kind of gets stuck in winter..." Mmm-hmm, I bet if it was your car that hadn't started your hood would have worked. Oh frickin' well. It had the advantage of me being able to wait inside and not try and figure out how to jump start my car using the Owner's Manual, instructions on the cables, a flash light, and frozen fingers. Luckily I'm still on the Colonel's insurance and roadside assistance was free. I gave the guy a $3 tip because, well, it's cold as balls and my apartment is damned hard to find in the dark.

crazy, apartment, car, incompetence
