Philosophy Club Formal

--Philosophy Club Formal went really well. Ben bought two kinds of red wine, one white, and five different kinds of cheese. I believe he said that two were Bree, one might have been a swiss, one was a bourchette (sp?), and there was a hard garlic cheese as well. Alex also brought soem Sam Adam's Hefflefeizen (sp?). I can't say that I've ever had a dry beer before. It was kinda interesting, though not something I would drink often. The white wine was very good, being more of a desert wine and rather sweet. Ben was surprised that the white was the only one we finished, I told him it's because white is a little classier... That and Brad had five glasses of it. heh.
--I more a short black sleevless dress that had a matching jacket kinda thing that went over it (which did have sleeves). I had my hair up, and I wore a pair of very pretty latex hooker boots, which looked much classier with the dress than they ever should have. It was fun being the tallest person at the party *grin.* Brad had on dark grey pinstipe pants, a dark red shirt, and a navy tie (I wouldn't have gone with the navy, but it didn't look terrible). Alex wore a light green shirt with a diagonally striped green tie, a lighter shade of grey, but still dark, pants. Ben had on a pink shirt and tie with grey pants as well and was the only one of the boys to have a jacket. Diana whore a longer black dress, halter top, with black gloves up to her elbows, and there was some kind of lacy frilly underskirt underneath her dress from just below the knee to her ankle.
--After the actual Formal we decided to go to Peaches Grill because none of us had really eaten so we wanted some food (besides cheese, bread, and peaches) to dampen the affect of the wine and beer. The waitress, who was this cute dykey chick with a shirt that said "Vaginatarian" told us about a fruit plate special they had and came out to show us. Everyone was like "Yes!" so we split a seven dollar tray of fruit that was _the_ perfect thing. I had a small salad to go with it. The whole night was just perfect.

philosophy club, alcohol, perfect days
