Pegasus!
Gosh, I seem to have won a Pegasus Award. [Best Time-Related Song for "Precious Moments"] I'm not sure if I should greet this with suitably modest British reserve, or be squealing "Woohoo!" in a loud and gleeful manner. Or possibly both!
Thank you to anyone who voted for me, to Marilisa for helping me do a recording for the website, to Erica and Steve and everyone else involved in running the awards, and to Steve and Katy for (so far as I know) performing it in the nominees concert,and probably rather well, given the result! And to the early morning of Urban Tapestry's last day in England after Didgeri-douze when both words and then tune to this song just came out of nowhere. Probably the closest I can remember to a song writing itself, or at least feeling like it.
And my congratulations to the other winners, and indeed to all the nominees.
