SPoT = Bad!AU!canon

After chibikaoruchan 's resignation from PoT fandom, I've been wondering about this.  Exactly why did Konomi decided to make SPoT? It's an unnecessary sequel. I remembered reading that he said PoT is just a prequel thing. A prequel story that last 30+ volumes. Prequels aren't supposed to be that long, Konomi. That's a main story on its own.

Plot-wise -let's be ( Read more... )

Last time I checked there's no TeFu and with no actual surprise/plot twist to look forward to, I became discouraged to continue following the series. Ganbatte, Isu! Let me know when TeFu makes a comeback. It should be soon or else ( ... )

Can't believe how many people in Indonesia still adores Naruto. It shouldn't go as far as Shippuden. It's Naruto's equivalent of SPoT. The bad guys became good and everyone dies and then not. What a load of crap -__-

Hmm... Konomi loves drawing boys playing tennis? Konomi loves drawing boys in shorts and occasional glimpses of abs? Konomi loves drawing boys in shorts handling balls? Konomi love drawing... *gets a nosebleed* Konomi must switch to magazines like Hana to Yume and draws exactly what we all know is happening off screen. YAOI. LoL.

Well after PoT ended I didn't keep up with the fandom but from what I've heard I don't think I'll be reading it atm.Unless there's more Fuji in there then I'll give give it a go bias much xD Someone said that Konomi wanted to transfer Fuji to Rikkai which I think would be awesome D:

Fuji in Rikkai is an interesting idea. I wonder why he decided against it. Maybe because then Echizen wouldn't win (or better yet, Echizen is killed by raging Rikkai player!) and the story wouldn't fit the cliche ending of sport manga. I certainly wouldn't mind TeFu Foe-Yay moments. The possible UST is even more exciting, even!

This SFM xD If he was in Rikkai I bet the matches would be epic O_O and I would love it if Fuji would beat the crap out of Echizen :3

I bet Echizen wouldn't last a season and TeFu shall reign the story. Never mind tennis. It's all about yaoi! XDDD

Ach ... SPoT ... It's ruining everything in fandom really ... *cries*
But still I keep on reading it ... Why? I don't know ... Perhaps because I don't want to give up my love for them... Perhaps because I'm hoping (against knowing) that it will get better and fandom will revive again ... ^_^"

I just hope this fandom, TeFu, doesn't die ... I'd be so sad and depressed and ...
I really don't want it to go away ... Everything. All the wonderful authors and people and friends... I miss the fangirling and the squeeling and the wonderful fanfictions ...

I think TeFu fandom would've had about two more years before the impending decline of new entries if SPoT is never made. SPoT is the major cause of the decline because while on one hand, writers want to follow canon (if possible. Artistic liberty is there for a reason), the new canon doesn't provide anything new. If anything, it disagrees with the fandom so... I don't want TeFu fandom to die, either. They are special indeed. I can't think of other pairing in any fandom that has what they do T_T

*hugs* And I've added you. Hello, friend. Beware of my insane rambling ^^

Quite possible they would have at least managed 2 more years. But SPoT, as being said by many people before, really ruined everything ... :'(
It doesn't provide anything new indeed ... And we get to see so little TeFu ... *pouts*

Well, as long as some people keep it alive ... Maybe we can convince others to join us (again) ^^ Because yes, they are special.

*hugs back* Same here ... ^^
