More (Fail) Art
I was home alone a few weeks ago and got bored, so here are some... drawings.
Here it is, side by side with the original inspiration.. Yeah, I still need to get smaller brushes. Or maybe I should draw bigger? *is nervous about drawing huge pics*
Close enough (?) and sorry for the camera glare.. I need to work on the color gradation of the flowers (his is why I'm nervous about drawing big pics >.<)
Uh, I have plenty of dark colors left so I thought I'd try to draw night pics. The stars look too huge, don't they, though? And it's supposed to be snow but I might have put too much black. Because I was annoyed at the result, I added some 'footprints' next to the tree. I thought about drawing a body or a silhouette of a body hanging on the tree but it was too hard XDDD
On the bright(ish) side...
If you turn the painting upside down, it looks like a decent pic of a raging sea during the storm! And the brown thing is.... a monster's hand reaching down from the sky! And they yellow things are dead fishes floating in the surface! This is a picture of the start of aliens' attack! Yeah! Let's go with that! XDDD
Also does anyone know where to get LJ layout? Or could someone tell me how to make a customized one?
