Packing, Part 1

Jun 23, 2004 16:33

The time has come. I leave for New York City tonight. I'm really nervous- I haven't flown in over a decade. I'm sure everything will be fine. But my last memories of flying are of me bawling next to the bulkhead all the way to Kansas City, and again all the way home, when I was 12 years old. Not pretty.

I'm having a hard time deciding what to pack. I couldn't choose between my ties, so I'm bringing them all. Ties don't take up that much room, after all! I'm certain I'll be maing periodic entries as my packing progresses.

Also, I got my bank to raise my credit card limit another $200. This pleases me. That means I've got nearly $600 to spend! Please God, don't let me spend it all. I'll regret it later.

For now, that is all. You may also notice that this and all subsequent entries until I return home next tuesday will not be filted, because I want all humans to be able to know what I'm up to! And now, back to packing.
