[Well, it's been quite some time since Kanata has been in Mayfield, although he didn't know what sort of event that he and Pamela did together, he had regained the defining features of what makes Kanata the Demon Dog King: his ears and tail

[Don't mind Kanata here. He's just going to do a haters gonna hate jig down the sidewalk.]

Hm? Well, close enough! I'm not a dog, but I am the Demon Dog King!

It's pretty self-explanatory, isn't it? Aaah, then again you're probably not from Empyria or the Netheruniverse. I've got many titles that pretty much mean the same thing. Demon God King, Demon Dog King, Devil Lord, and Overlord of the Netheruniverse.

You're asking the wrong person about that. They are just there because it's who I am, I guess. But all that stuff aside, I'd rather just be called Kanata. No need for strict formalities when you're out on an adventure to discover the unknown and meet new people after all!

Well, there's no point in being upset since that's not going to help matters. So the next best thing to do is to make best of the situation, don't you think? And besides! This place is like a whole new world compared to my home, so it's pretty amazing in it's own way.

Facing danger is just part of being on an adventure! Besides, the greater the challenge is means the greater the rewards will be. It'll be fine in the end, really!

I think so! At least here, I know I can enjoy doing what I love doing all the time with an even greater challenge than I had faced before I was facing back home. You never know that the things you learn now might help you out in the long run. Like right now after being stripped of my demon heritage, I'm pretty weak right now but still trying to find a way to become stronger!
