[Earlier in the day, Kanata's drone family seemed perfectly fine with drinking the milk like nothing was wrong. Against his better judgment AND his instincts despite the warnings he was given, he decided to drink a whole bottle's worth ever since word that the Milkman was the new Chief of Police and all the posters plastered around

[Welp! That was enough to get him all excited! Maybe a magic user like Flonne could help him out!]

Well, I'm not feeling really good today. I've drank the milk like I was told to do by the family but since then my everything hurts. Ah--

[Whoops, he lost his own balance for a moment but he summons his sword to push and hold himself off the ground.]

It feels like a poison effect and already I feel numb and cold in some places.

[He shakes his head and lets out a small whine.]

Yeah, I had to drink it. They said I'll become a zombie if I didn't right? So I had to drink it but-- [Aaaaand there goes a loud yelp and him crashing down to the ground with him clutching his stomach tightly.]

I don't have any of my curing items with me! And I can't use any magic yet-- owowowowowowowowwwwww!

[Okay. He felt the magic go through him like curing spells usually do. And at that moment, he expected the pain to go away right then and there.

But the weird part of it all is that it felt like her spell made the poison go faster instead. And THAT was a whole world of hurt. And he is trying so hard not to yell from the pain but he doesn't want her to think that she is not helping him at all. ;w;]

... Because I'm feeling sleepy now. Like really tired.

[He gives a weak laugh at that.] N-No... no, you didn't. Hey Flonne, can you do one more favor for me? Could you scratch behind my ears and pet my head? Just for a little bit.

[He nods his head slowly at her help and lets out a content sigh and a beaming wide smile. That was a little too much for him to ask of her, but he wouldn't complain. Not right now.]

It's... perfect. Thanks Flonne.

[He glances up at her with his empty eyes to follow her gaze up to the clouds. He really did try to make the best of things here no matter what happened but... having friends near by was important. It was because of his friends was the reason why he was stronger after all. So he weakly nudged his head closer against her hands in response.]

You're right... it is a little cold and lonely here, isn't it? But that's why I've got friends here like you to help me make it less lonely and more fun. So if we're ever lonely, we'll just visit each other. Pamela, Lucius, Riz... and you and... maybe we'll see Etna and Mizuki again. Soon everyone will be here again and we'll have fun together.

Yeah... yeah, I'd like that. Let's all go on a big adventure together sometime, okay? It'll be fun.

[And that's when a quiet sigh escaped from his lips and the weakly moving tail stopped moving at all. He eyes are still focused to the clouds up above and were still barely shut but the one thing that had not changed at all was the smile on Kanta's face. It really hurt to deal with everything, but he was able to take any pain or burden on him so long as his friends were close by. And that was enough to make this all bearable until the end.]
