Life - upside down

Well it's been a while since my last update and there is much to tell. I almost got my first speeding ticket in my new car the other night. I was following Chris Libby into north conway on my way to Applebee's. He's driving a 1st Gen. eclipse with a noisy pipe and no turbo and I wanted to show him how slow his noisy beast was. I was behind him in the right lane with three cars to our left, he was right on the line. I knew Libby would beat the other people through the intersetion and I would get a chance. Sure enough the light went green and Libby pulled away without too much of a racing spirit. I launched hard right on his ass, as soon as I had enough space I dove into the left lane and gunned it past him. Next I knew I was doing 70 down main street north conway. I looked in my rear view mirror and saw blue lights pull out from the yield house. I figured I was screwed and was just going to pull into Applebee's and deal with the cop in the parking lot. I signaled right, pulled into the right lane and then into Settler's Green. I looked in my rear view and watched the blue lights scream riht by on main street. PHEW!!! Libby later told me that the cop pulled over the next white car that he came to. No more main street racing for me.

I'm giving my two week notice at work today so I can move on to a garage in town to work on cars and hopefully learn how to weld.
