More Rock Band 2!
So Rock Band 2 has a much better main setlist than the first, even though it seems like they replaced all the boring and easy slow songs with impossible thrash metal. But since the setlist is bigger in general, it balances out.
Seems more fun on vocals too:
One Step Closer: SHUT UP WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOUUUUUU >:O
Rob the Prez-o-dent: The accent through the whole thing is hilarious
Uncontrollable Urge: The "yeah yeah yeah (etc.)" parts sound like "duh duh duh (etc.)" D:
Peace Sells: The opening.
So Whatcha Want: SO WHATCHA WHATCHA WHATCHA WANT (lolbeastieboys)
Plus various songs that are just plain fun to sing.
Also, they fixed the no-pitch sections(AKA Talky Parts). They're crazy easy now; 100% on Sabotage first try whoo.
I'm still hoping for that Institutionalized song that was in GH2 to appear as DLC. It's not great as a song, but the vocals are like 75% emo rant. "ALL I WANTED WAS A PEPSI, JUST ONE PEPSI AND SHE WOULDN'T GIVE IT TO ME :("
Livin' on a Prayer is fun times. However, I can only play it through the unlock all songs cheat because I haven't found it on tour/challenges yet. It's probably in a marathon or the middle of BWT somewhere. It also mocks me by being in the first-tier drum-specific challenge and so won't unlock until I plug in a drum set, which I haven't found yet. D:
Characters can now be used for every instrument, yay. Also, it seems scores, bands, and tour progress are now tied to profile and not character. So I can make a million goofy characters(there's a better Edgeworth shirt now omgyes) and not have to suffer them being instrument-specific or having to only use one character on tours.
You all need to get it and play online with me prz!
