“Is it done?”

Caim glanced over at Baal before rolling his eyes slightly. “I was interrupted.”

Vassago smirked, leaning back against the chair she was sitting in, watching Caim as he wrapped his hand. “I told you that you wouldn’t succeed. You should have listened.”

“Yes, darling, I’m sure you did,” Caim rolled his eyes. “But what you failed to mention was that the Winchesters deus ex machina was one Samuel Winchester. And he was decidedly not a demon.”

Baal’s head dropped into a slight tilt, before closing his eyes. “Sam Winchester has been saved.” He shook his head, before moving towards him. “Lilith failed to mention that.”

“Lilith fails to mention a lot of things, in case you haven’t noticed.” Stolas was sprawled on his back on one of the wider branches of a nearby tree, playing with the leaves as he spoke. “If Samael is no longer in Hell, I want my damn girl back.”

“You’ll get her back,” Malphas said coolly. “One way or another, you always do. I think we have bigger plans to worry about here. Like what we’re going to do with Sam Winchester having been saved by angels.”

“Things, not plans,” Baal corrected. “I hate plans. They always go wrong.”

“So what was the point of infecting the girl, then?” Caim replied, his eyes narrowing slightly.

“I like cycles. History repeating itself. It’s fun and I was bored.” Baal smirked slightly, before continuing. “Besides, if Dean Winchester was anything like Mother Mary, he would have eagerly run to his little girl’s rescue-one less Winchester to deal with.”

Caim shrugged slightly at that, before lounging against the nearby park bench. “So what’s our next move? We obviously can’t have Sam running around with an angel on his shoulder. He and Lilith were too close-he knows things.”

“He might not,” Halphas replied, arching an eyebrow slightly. “Angels take things. They could have removed the Hell memories-he’s more accessible if he doesn’t have the two hundred forty years of Lilith’s influence, I’m sure.”

“Castiel was the one who did it,” Caim rolled his eyes. “He was practically glowing he was covered in so much angel dust.”

“If it was Castiel, he wouldn’t have taken the Hell memories,” Baal sighed. “He’s too Catholic-he likes to use the guilt to manipulate them. It’s also not going to make him easy to find and eliminate either-Castiel will be watching over him.”

“Send Alloces,” Phoenix said, letting Aim’s arms curl around her more. “Surely he has enough brute force to eliminate Castiel and Sam in one fell swoop.”

“Brute force isn’t going to solve this one,” Shax replied, his voice a low rumble. “We don’t want to risk retribution because of Castiel’s death either. Uriel is not what we need at the moment.”

“He’s got a point. We need something-subtle,” Baal contemplated. “We need to make Sam come to us.”

There was a period of silence, before Aim’s clear accent rang out over the group. He didn’t speak much, but when he did, what he said was usually worth listening to. “Samael has just spent two hundred and forty years as Lilith’s consort. He shared her bed, as well as was given a toy of his own to derive pleasure from. What better way to find him than to send in the one thing he can’t resist?”

The other demons looked at him for a moment, before Phoenix nodded. “Don’t send Alloces-send Avnas.”

Baal smirked slightly, rubbing his chin as he did. “It is subtle. I think I like it.”

“It’s true,” Stolas smirked. “What self-respecting sex addict would be able to resist a lust demon?”

“So-Avnas it is,” Baal nodded, before turning to Aim. “Would you like to supervise, my friend?”

“I’d love to,” Aim smirked. “This should be fun.”
