meh, nufin' special

my weekend was relatively boring. I wanted to go to the zoo or something outdoors with nick. you know, like a date or something, but he wasn't interested. He spent most of his weekend on the computer playing video games and working. It was nice to not have to do anything in particular though, i guess. Abby came over Sunday night so we went to the ADULT STORE!!! ::trumpet blare:: because that was what was open on a Sunday night. It was fun. Alex came over too. They played video games for HOURS!!! (until 5am) CRAZY!
Yesterday was also boring. Nick went to Knocked Up with Laura - and now after seeing it doesn't want to have sexxors because he's afraid of babies. dumbass. ::shakes head:: enh, whatever. um....what else....Mitch is engaged. that's just wierd - and probably dumb. They haven't been together for a year yet but that's been going around. And Mooch got married this weekend, which isn't wierd at all on it's own, it's just apparently that season again. Everyone is getting married/engaged and all that.
Dad called me late last night to tell me that a few days ago my cousins'/aunt's house burned down. There was a fire next door and it jumped to their house. It burnt down the back stairs and the roof. So the house may be salvageable but there's damage and all that. They're across the street at my uncle's place. The joys of having family REALLY close by.
However, the amusing part of this story is:

Dad: I have bad news. Areli and Ed's house burned down.
MR: Oh No! Is everyone ok?
Dad: Yeah, Ed and Areli were at Aunt Jeanie's but Yolanda woke up and got everyone out with no problems. They're at Uncle Art's now.
MR: Is the house destroyed or can if be saved?
Dad: It was the roof and the back stairs but the roof caved into the bedrooms, so it's just going to be a LOT of work.
MR:Well, I'm glad everyone is ok.
Dad: Yeah, me too.....by the way, Is Nick there?
MR: Yeah...
Dad: Can I talk to him? I'm having a computer problem.
...
...
OMG! Dad is such a dork. lol

yeah, so that was the excitement of my weekend.
