Sex is one of the most fascinating qualities of humanity. We have sex for numerous reasons. We have sex for pleasure, power, instant gratitude, for the sake of having it, to create offspring, to toy with someone's emotions, as a challenge, and the list goes on and on.
Some people see sex as a sort of game, a thrill, a rush. Sex is the culmination of rolling emotions and feelings. Sex is lust, sex is a spur of the moment action. There can be multiple partners at once, or just a long string of one night stands.
To some, sex is a natural act that is an extension of themselves. A way to show their partner that they care. A want to make their partner feel wonderful. Sex is sacred, sex is just for the one and only, the true love.
Sex can be beautiful, sex can be harsh gratification. Sex can come from a long building of emotions and feelings, or sex can result from a sweaty grind on the dance floor hours before.
Sex for me is an interesting thing. I used to say that I would only have sex with someone I truly loved. I would only have sex while I was in a relationship with someone. I told myself I would only have sex with the person I loved.
Well, you know, being in a relationship changed that. I can now say that I am willing to have sex with someone I am not in a relationship with. I have already done so. Haha. I am more willing to explore, and, as a friend pointed out to me previously, I am no longer a prude.
Sex is sweat, harsh grunts, lights on, lights off, the backseat of a car, the woods, chocolate, whipped cream, whips, chains, bounds, gags, feathers, a one night stand, a sleazy motel, grinding on a dance floor, two people, five people, an orgy, two men, two women, two men and one woman, two women and one man. Sex is various things to various people.
Sex can be as beautiful as it can be harsh and ugly.
Some use sex as the end to a chase, then they move on to the next prey in a long list of one night stands.
Some use sex as a form of power, using the emotions of the others involved in a twisted game.
Sex can be an expression of love or a culmination of lust.
