Ha! You cannot find me because I am very well hidden, mostly because I am unbelievably shy about my writing. Beyond shy. Plus I am super-new to LJ and don't know anyone, barely know what I'm doing on line, etc.

But you like my fic! YAAAAAAY! Thank you thank you--I have such a good time writing and creating these little worlds, and I just adore hearing that other people have also enjoyed them! That totally makes my week. :)

I will totally drink an internet-beer from you for the St. John fic. It's turning out well, isn't it? Better than I had planned, fer sure. And now that I put the pieces together and see that you're the one doing all those awesome paintings (and yeah--Chan is hard to figure out) that I've been unable to track down--life is good.

Actually, I think the next chapter is a lot of fun. It's my favorite so far--that probably doesn't help matters, does it? ;p

yes, I cannot stop the humor. I try to write something totally serious, and then I look back at the page and it's like WHOOPS. I guess that was a little too wry for the situation... it cannot be prevented. but I'm so glad you enjoy. This kinkmeme needs moar humor!

OK, now I'm going to have to ask your opinion on something, because I am having a hard time telling myself (since I'm the author and I know what I'm thinking, even if no one else does). Does it seem even vaguely Eagle-ish? I'd like to work in some Esca eventually, and I'm trying with Marcus, but he keeps trying to become Jack Aubrey instead. Tell me what you think...

...and that's exactly what I've been struggling with :) Frackin_sweet's one Percenter's AU also has a Marcus who's much more assertive and broad-minded then canon!Marcus, but Esca's pretty much Esca there. Mine is ending up a more non-canon Marcus + Jane Eyre crossover. Frankly, I'm having too much fun with it to worry, but I needed a bit of confirmation from someone who wasn't me :D

I suspect it's going to end up a lot more Eagle once they actually hop in bed or something, but you actually summed it up very well, which is great because I couldn't put my finger on it. St. John is SUPER-REPRESSED. Beyond repressed, poor man. He's never go to bed with canon!Marcus... they'd just sit around looking awkwardly at each other for 20 years. And that's no fun.

Well, you all are being so patient with this story, and I love that because it gives me time to get it to where it's wanting to go... slowly. Eventually!
