My heart goes out to Houston today
As most of you probably know, they've been hit hard, and many folks ignored the evacuation alerts. I hope all our friends and families here in Texas are safe and sound today, and I wish for a speedy rescue and recovery for Houston. The damage is massive... I'm just hoping all the folks that decided to stay behind are alright. Something like 140,000 people out there with no running water or electricity, many stranded on flooded streets with water levels still rising.
Just saying this isn't over yet - please keep our neighbors in Houston in your thoughts/prayers/heart today and throughout the next several weeks as they struggle to return water & electricity, and slowly begin rebuilding their city.
