Miraculously, the flight over to Wales and the arrival went well - no lost luggage, minimal sleep deprivation (what's 30 hours of consciousness, after all?), decent food and fellow passengers, and best of all, no explosion and flaming death following by a 30,000 foot plunge into the frigid Atlantic. Set up in Talybont South and should have everything finished by the end of the week, save the internet (my laptop AC adapter decided to die, and I'm at the mercy of Dell customer support). Classes should be interesting - looking at those on the Normans in Europe and medieval heresy with greedy littles eyes and cackling whenever I look at the course book! Aside from that, not much going on at the moment - the major partying has subsided, which I think means that everyone is drinking in groups of 15 or less instead of in masses at clubs. WVU can forget about considering itself a professional party town after a week here, I've decided - Cardiff puts it to shame. Haven't had a chance to see much of the city save the university and the main shopping center, although I have found that Games Workshop store Toby mentioned, and am realizing I'm going to be spending a fair amount of time and money there, that my Tyranid swarm might grow... On that note, still unemployed, but looks like I'll be able to find something after I get my classes worked out. Anyway, got to go. Greetings to everyone, and thanks for all the advice/concern/well-wishing.
