Awayness = muchos memes

Whenever I'm apart from my livejournal, a backlog of interesting things needs to be read through. And I open up a Word document and post anything I wish to pass on. So, here goes.

Firstly, lanning advertised this this piece of fandom harmony, which is rather amusing.

Secondly, dz_crasher posted this little get-to-know list and I would like you all to fill it out for me (especially because I still can't remember birthdays - sorry again!)

14. If you could change anything about your current life, would you?:
15. Will you post this so I can fill it out for you?:

And marzie_pan posted The Soundtrack of My Life meme. Let's see now...

1. Put your music player of choice on shuffle.
2. Scene one = first song played, scene two = second, so on.
3. No cheating/skipping.

Opening Credits: Green Christmas - Barenaked Ladies
Why did I let Steph put all this stuff on my computer? I don't even know this song!

Waking Up: Thank You - Simple Plan
It's good to wake up to some emo. This film is going to be very teenage angst, I feel - this sets the tone.

An Ordinary Day: Respect - Pink and Scratch
Continuing teenagerness, maybe uni (yeah, I wish). If guys chased me like this, Huw would be quite put out.

The First Date: Sewn - The Feeling
It's quite a nice song, fairly mellow. I can see this playing over a little restaurant scene, and some dancing. It's a little odd though.

Falling In Love: Come Get Some - Rooster
*chokes* Yeah, I'm obviously a bit of a slut in this film. And the first date went so well *sigh*

The Breakup: Hollywood - Daniel Powter
Well, I can see how something like that can come between people. The song sounds a little sleazy, actually. Maybe some cheating here.

Getting Back Together: Reflection - Christina Aguilera
Some insecurity here, I feel. Not good for restarting a relationship.

Life's Okay: Beneath the Cross of Jesus - Kristyn Getty
Well, yes, that would make sense, wouldn't it?

The Mental Breakdown: When I Go - Ronny Cox
I'd imagine contemplation of death would destabilise me somewhat. Beautiful song though.

Cruising: Wedding's Off - Kurt Nilson
I didn't even realise it had got that far. Oh dear.

The Flashback: Rescue Me - Patti Labelle and Arethra Franklin
I obviously had a traumatic Smallville childhood then.

The Frat Party: Affirmation - Savage Garden
Pretty strange frat party... (actually, no, thinking about my uni friends...)

Everybody Dance Now: Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow! - Dean Martin
*nods* A Christmas party This thing's taken a year already!

Regretting: The Show Must Go On - Queen
I must've got myself into a mess first, I suppose. Love this song.

The Long Night Alone: Mary's Boy Child - Matt Munro
Why do I have so many Christmas songs? Apparently Christmas is very depressing.

A Death: I'll Be There For You - Bon Jovi
Not if you're dead, mate. Though the first line is 'I guess this time you're really leaving' - you've got that right.

End Credits: Nature Boy - David Bowie
What a terrible ending! I'm not sure I'd buy this film.

meme: music, meme: friends
