Just for
fishy13: BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!
(oh, no, there's the first Portugal penalty)
So, just before I left halls, Huw and I went to the Isle of Wight on holiday. (oh no, Lampard! Yeah, here we go again...)It was lovely, actually, very relaxing and pleasant. (The POST! Oh my life, this is too tense!) We visited a little model village and a waxworks, whilt staying at a little seaside town. (And it's in! Go Hargreaves!)
Moving out of halls was strange but I haven't thought about missing it, really. Been too busy putting my house to rights. (He missed! Very strange shoot-out) Put together my bedside table, chest of drawers and bed by myself, but the wardrobe collapsed on Simon and myself. (Nooo! Oh, this is ridiculous! I don't even care if we win! Why am I so worked up? There goes another for Portugal :( I hate penalties)
Been amusing myself by helping out with prospective medical students (a retake?! ARGH!) - was very sick on the trip to Aberystwyth, but survived the day. (Oh, no no no! Bah.) I really felt I made a difference to them all, actually. Was very rewarding. And I got paid.
And Portugal are through. Hmph. Oh, the players are crying. That makes me sad.
I have been missing people. Not always specific people, just people being around. An empty house, especially at night, is quite intimidating. Though I did get through the whole first season of Lost - very watchable and intense, but not something I'm particularly fussed about rewatching.
I miss Huw. Quite a lot.
(Ooh - Doctor Who! Quick! Quick!)
So, I went to watch Glamorgan play Twenty20 against Somerset yesterday - they won by a wicket.
fishy13 and I spent a large portion of Somerset's innings staring at Brendon McCullum's arse on the boundary. And a very nice arse it is too.
Now I'm back in Devon.
Oh, and I PASSED WITH MERIT!. :D
