Battlestar Galactica
I receive my Galactica fix in large but infrequent doses, often going months at a time between highs. However, today, amongst eight episodes of Atlantis, marzie_pan and I got through 3,6,7+8 before downloading 1+2 (yeah, I know, we're a little weird)
Therefore, today's topic is - Kara/Lee. Shocker!
But, oh my life, their love is soooo beautiful! And snarky! And hot! And funny! And angsty! It's great!
My favourite episode was Home pt 1 though, because when they reunite, despite the sex with Baltar and the jealousy and the running-off-to-Caprica, they kiss! And Kara's surprised but pleased and they share some joke about him putting her in the brig for kissing him. And then we have a little detour into the angst and he is trying to cajole her out of a funk that is largely his fault, letting slip - 'I'm your friend, I love you, if you need to talk...'. She jumps all over him for it 'You love me? Lee Adama loves me! You can't take it back, there are no take-backs' and he wanders off, calling her a dreamer.
Just...SQUEE!
I need a fic fix for those two. Though I'm not entirely dissatisfied with watching Jamie Bamber wandering around in only a very small towel and nearly dropping it on the floor.
