Uganda
So, this evening I am travelling to my training in Hertfordshire. From the 29th July to the 14th August, I shall be in Uganda!!
I'm going with the Oasis Trust, which is a Christian Mission organisation, to work with street children. The first week we're helping to run a camp for 35 girls near Jinja - that should be exhausting enough! - then the second week we're in Kampala, the capital, visiting orphanages and various work projects before running an after-school club for 60 street girls!
I don't really know what to think at the moment. I've spoken with the other members of my team and they seem like nice people but I really have no idea what to expect. But I'm pretty confidant it's going to be MIND-BLOWING.
