America, Fanfic, New Seasons, and Memeness
Just returned from my annual leave in Washington DC and NYC. We were incredibly touristy and busy in DC but chilled out with the theatre in New York, catching Promises, Promises (with Sean Hayes and Kristin Chenoweth), La Cage Aux Folles (with Kelsey Grammer), and Memphis (this year's Best New Musical Tony).
In fanfic news, my help_pakistan fic has gone a bit epic, but I'm quite pleased with it so far, considering how rusty my Merlin skills have been. My friend also dragged me back into Smallville on holiday, so I'm currently in the middle of Season 8 and have a crush on that nice archer boy, so expect some Clark/Ollie (Collie? Really, fandom?) fic soon!
I managed to catch new Castle and Glee while I was Stateside, but am now behind on Merlin and Supernatural. However, Coven weekend with openskies and clearillusion should sort that out! Popcorn in everyone's hair!
