Ages ago, I started retagging all my meme entries - mostly so I could find old memes and laugh at myself. Today, because I am meant to be revising, I finished my task.
This has the unfortunate consequence of my largest tag category being "meme: self" - which makes me look like a self-obsessed freak. *le sigh*
However, I did find some old memes, which I will now shake the cobwebs off and chuck out there!

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to write a drabble with the same first line as one of my stories, and leave it in my comments here. Any fandom, any pairing or gen, and you can interpret "drabble" as loosely as you want.
1) Dick clawed his way through the window, cursing under his breath.
2) The moon winked at her from the water and she gazed at her reflection amongst the stars, idly running her fingers through the long dark hair caressing her shoulders.
3) A low moan stirred him from sleep and he struggled upright, feeling something in his arm give and sickening pain spread over his shoulder.
4) Roy looked at his watch.
5) It was the same again today as it had been every day since Tim had slammed the Manor door, breathless, as if he’d run all the way from Bludhaven clutching that little blue note.
6) He wasn’t quite sure how he’d ended up there, really.
7) The first time he thought it was a bomb.
8) Jack still wasn’t back.
9) It was too hot and his breaths were getting shorter, quicker.
10) They stood at the edge of the woods, waiting.
11) It didn’t seem fair really.
12) “Booster? Booster, where are you going?”
13) Booster sat in his room, wondering what on earth he had been thinking.
14) “Why do we always have to investigate the dark, creepy places?”
15) Ted was sat up in bed, reading, when Booster came in with lunch.
16) There was something different about the way you walked in that day, a little swagger in your step and a flourish as you hung up your coat.
17) He thinks it’s about three days before he wakes up.
18) It all could have been perfect.
19) He sat on worn stone steps, sunlight in his eyes and his heart hammering through his chest.
20) Simon was anxious, shifting from foot to foot at the reception desk, a creased photo bending under his twitching fingers.
