Many things

So, while I should have been revising, I have been throwing myself into book_swapping, posting my final fic at batknights and watching some really good television.

Which, surprisingly, includes 'Meerkat Manor', which we bought Jenny for her birthday.

Anyway...

I really only have one thing to say about this - Danny and Lindsay! FINALLY! YAY!!!

Also, my housemates fancied the magician. I did not, but he was kinda cool.

I have just realised that David Hodges is like Rodney McKay. There are many similarities, but the one I am particularly referring to is that I absolutely hated Rodney in Stargate. When I heard he was going to be in Atlantis, I wrote the whole show off. Then, he came into his own and he's probably my favourite (living) character in that show.
I also hated Hodges. But that one phone call with the victim's mother and suddenly I like him. Then, this episode just cemented it for me - and he found a clue! Yay clue! It was a great episode of fun, what with rats and dumpster!Greg and Iowa-pimping!Nick. They need to lighten up every now and again.

Firstly, whomever told me that Jack would be in this episode, I smack you round the head.

Secondly, it was absolutely amazing. I was frankly terrified. I knew there was an episode that DT wouldn't be in (and I assume that was it, kinda) but whilst 'Love & Monsters' completely flopped last year, even with the stunt-casting of Peter Kay, this was tense and nervy and brilliantly written, directed and acted.

It's probably my favourite episode of Who to date. Go Moffat! He makes the absolute scariest bad guys - Empty Child zombies, Clockwork droids and now Weeping Angels. Also, he's written 'Jekyll' which I was going to watch anyway, but now I'm doubly excited. Yay!
