I liked Mike Keppler. A lot.
He was dark and twisty, funny. I liked how much they built up his character in what? Four episodes? Five? How he had this past and it was all screwy.
But towards the end, I knew the best thing was for him to die. He had to die, because otherwise he'd rot in jail or get the death penalty anyway.
Catherine, I think, really cared for him. That was a completely terrible episode. But it had some good moments.
Nick holding a baby. Can we say ovary flutter?
Gil backing Sarah down the corridor - never, EVER would I think that I'd be enjoying those two as a couple.
And, finally, my tenderhooks face every flippin' time Gil *almost* opened his parcel and then didn't! How long are they gonna drag that out?!
All in all, I'll miss Mike. He was a good character. CSI did good here.
