Take note, Atlantis - this is how you really deal with character death. You show how the death is affecting the people closest to the character, you show how it's interfering with everyday life. This is what Carson Beckett deserved.
However, one good thing has come out of Kara's death - Lee/Sam. Yes, my slash drought couldn't last forever with this show, and I have chosen the grief ship as my own. Sam obviously wants to hold on to what's left of Kara in Lee, and whilst Lee just wants to avoid the problem, I think this could be very interesting.
I still miss Kara though.
I can't believe Lee called Racetrack "Starbuck". I hid myself from the screen out of embarassment for him. Oh, Lee.
The birthday card Kara sent to the "young man" was so funny, so true, so lovely.
Kara's death has also meant that Lee is free to go over to the dark side, as it were, because Kara would never have let him do it. Previews for 19 show a suit - mmmmm.
I like Lambkin. I mean, I don't like lawyers and he's manipulating Lee and Gaius and Six, but he's cool. Very cool. Cylon cool.
I really want to watch the next episode now!!!
And today Huw is taking me to see Chicago in the West End. Yay! Much happiness.
