Summary: Being a series of letters found in the possesions of the late Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, assumed to have been taken from one Gellert Grindelwald after his imprisonment in Nurmengard prison. Transcribed by P. Weasley, Junior Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic. All letters have been left in the order they were found in.
Disclaimer: Don't own it... unfortunately. Also do not have anything to do with unsentletters. Well, I was a member a few years back, but... whoa, dude, I joined again. Huh. Um. Well, this story has nothing to do with the community unsentletters.

Author's Note: I really don't have a clue how long this series of letters is going to be. I wrote the first two awhile ago, but added onto this one some tonight and will be doing the same with the other. Also, having to go back through and add this much HTML was pretty annoying... luckily the next one will pretty much not need any HTML at all.

Albus, you must know that I would not ever mean to harm Ariana. If it was my spell that killed her, then may the fates deal with me as they see fit. May they deal with me as such no matter whose spell killed her, for I know I am the one at fault in this whole wretched business.
As for Aberforth, I may honestly say that- though we never got along- I feel that I acted wrongly in using an Unforgivable Curse on him. This is, of course, completely obvious to you, but you must remember that Durmstrang was different from Hogwarts, Albus, and
Albus, please, I know you must hate me but at least write to me, my love, I think I will go mad if you do not and I sound like a girl from one of those awful romantic plays but ALBUS I am completely in earnest when I say it. I think I am going a bit mad already and it has barely been a month since I left you. Albus, please, I love you
Why do I spend so much time writing and crossing out when I know I will never post any letters to you, that you will probably never even see them?
I suppose I must go mad then, because I cannot bear sending something off that I know will only get me a cold reply that simply assures me of how much you hate me for what I have done. At least this way I can delude myself into believing that you do not completely hate me, that you keep a few fond memories of our time together.

At this point, Grindelwald seems to have given up on the letter entirely. There are spots which are possibly old tearstains, but there is no way of knowing whose tears they would be.
