There were some days Adam regretted stopping Armageddon. September 11, the Madrid subway bombings, and the London subway/bus bombings were three examples that came to mind right away.
But eventually, with enough time spent at Jasmine Cottage, he remembered why he had stopped it, and that was because everyone was at Jasmine Cottage eventually.
Friday nights it was especially full, because that was when everyone who wasn’t terribly busy with something else dropped by. Newt and Anathema were there, of course- they lived there, after all, with their daughters Agnes and Lucy; Aziraphale and Crowley were there, Aziraphale having made sure that Crowley didn’t run over anyone on the way; Madame Tracy somehow managed to drag Sergeant Shadwell over every week; the Them always showed up in some sort of group; and occasionally Sable, White, and Red showed up, since Adam could apparently counteract them if they were close enough.
Those were the good nights.
