Did this one in second person cause that's the way it started in my head, for some reason. This is actually the first one I got the idea for... the others came later. XD

But it's so hard loving you
You watch him watching her, and something down in your stomach aches when you see the look on his face. Remus said once that that’s the look you get on your face when you watch him, and that makes it hurt even more. Nothing your family has ever done has hurt this much, and you almost wish you had never met him, never known him, because it’s nearly unbearable watching him now.
But you have to pretend nothing’s wrong, because the slightest hint that anything’s different between you will make him suspicious. He already gives you strange looks occasionally, when you don’t manage to smile fast enough after he stops looking at her, or when you get “that spacey look” and don’t respond right away when he talks to you. You laugh it off, and he accepts it after a minute, and everything’s back to normal- or at least as normal as you can be, now.
The only consolation right now is that she doesn’t care about him. That she goes out of her way to avoid him. It feels awful, feeling that way, because you want him to be happy, but... you want him to be happy with you. But that will never happen, because he’s not giving up on her, and even if he did, someday, maybe, he’s still not gay. And you’re not a girl.
Sometimes you just want to leave- to find some excuse not to see him anymore, so maybe it’ll hurt less, eventually. But you’re not willing to leave, because you how badly it’ll hurt to begin with. And you don’t want that. It’s hard loving him, but you’re willing to try, to deal with him loving her, if it means you can be around him.
