Okay, so the paintball tourney turned into a mass orgy. Perhaps we should stop trying to keep the demons away from sex, but I have no idea. All I know is that JRM was not too pleased with this.

No, don't worry about it, actually. It's not really my thing anymore (got old after a while), but I guess we can look at it optimistically. We're tainting more than a few souls, I suppose.

I try not to get involved with anyone, (it affects my work), but it happens sometimes. And yes, sex does have the power to taint.

Yes, I can see just how detached you are from this *waves arm around* public display of affection? *smiles widely*

Nothing wrong with it, I suppose. Not if you're in the mood for it.

Like I said, I try, but it happens.

Did you hear what happened to Viggo?

*arches eyebrow*

What happened? Do I even want to know? Is this going to cause more paperwork?

*smirks*

Paperwork, I'm not sure.

One of the Risen hit him with a balloon filled with paint and Love Oil.

And who is the unfortunate object of Viggo's affection?

Demon David. Do you know him? He seems a little... spooked by a lovey-dovey Viggo.

Yes, I know him. I sent him to mess up ambassadorial talks between India and China. He did a very good job, too. That's too bad that he's in Viggo's clutches. I had hoped to recruit him.

*nods*

He would have made an excellent succubus, he's very good-looking.

*sighs*

Are you going to that... *grimaces slightly* wedding next month?

*frowns slightly*

Yes, I'm going. It's sort of a requirement of office these days. I'm still a bit in the dark about this whole "rising and redemption" thing.

I asked Sean about it, of course. I've been in love many times over the last several millenia, and I've never risen. Well, you know how Sean is. He did the whole, "Oh, well, it must be in your character to fall in love. It's only when you love and it not in your character to love...that's when you rise."

I would almost swear that he's trying to pull a fast one. Except he can't lie. But I know there's something he's not telling me.

Well, I don't know what exactly has been going on. I know that Nick not only fell in love, he allegedly cried, and that's why he Rose, but because the only other person there was his lover, no one can be certain.

*shrugs*

I haven't been in love since I was alive, a decade ago. Fucking is fine sometimes, but love is hard for me to come by.

And maybe Sean is just being evasive. The angels may not be able to lie outright, but they can be evasive and lie by omission.

Well, I think the whole thing is dodgy. I've been from cover to cover of their sacred White Book and I can't find anything on rising and redemption.

I tried contacting Depp, since it's his department, and he sent back a copy of the law saying that he's not allowed to share the contents of said book with a demon.

But getting back to the subject. Are you going to the wedding?

I might, I haven't been to a wedding since before I died. And I have a feeling my counterpart will want me to be there, security issues, you know? I don't really know Chris, but I know Nick, and if this Chris guy made Nick fall in love with him, then there's got to be something special about him.

Hall was actually good value. It's too bad we lost him. He had a funny obsession with Alice Cooper, though. And he couldn't appreciate the Velvet Underground, but not everyone's perfect.

You should go. How bad can it be? You are talking to newly redeemed demons, you know. It could be all right. *slight wince*

*laughs*

Alice Cooper? I much prefer Pink Floyd, if you're going for that kind of music, but to each his own.

*sighs*

I'll probably go. Not like I do anything anyway.
