I can't believe I want to say this, but ... WOO HOO!! RAIN!

Anyways, I've got little to do then try and get the I-am-being-stubborn blues done and proceed to bash my head out because of something on deviant art..... *bangs head again*, RANDOM SKETCH TIME. Again from when I should be working.

It all really started with me doodling this (I warn you all though, I've really gotten deep into nostalgia mode since getting my PPG Collectors box)...

I was really kinda bored and was spending 4% of my brain thinking of what classes in the Final Fantasy Universe the PPG would fit. Bubbles would definitely be a Summoner (I don't think taming is quite her), and the RDM artifact armor just has a killer hat.
Just no one tell Brick that the rdm job emote summons HUGE SPARKLING PINK ROSES around the person.

That thought lead me into trying to pair them to (and their counterparts) what kind of mythological stereo type they fit (excluding major gods, because that is so overused and way too easy.)

Personally speaking, Blossom really does fit the stereo type of a "divinely inspired warrior" or a martyr. Driven towards a certain purpose and given "divine right", it just seems to be her. A great deal of people with this trait were actually very strategically sound, and if I were to give further proof, Genghis Khan believed his conquest of the world was the will o heaven, The emperor who unified China (as well as the majority of rulers in general) believed his rule to be same, and of course Jeanne D'Arc. Need I say much about her? But they all have their vices (Khan had the sexual appetite of a crate of bunnies, The first emperor was a paranoid psychopath, and Jeanne....well... was far too driven...ok maybe not the best example there.)

The polar opposite would be that of a dragon, who are often taken in Western mythology as a destructive being who represented human greed, pride, and negative aspects. They horde, they covet, they attack on a whim, and they are easily goaded into taking revenge when someone tries to touch what is theirs (See beowulf, Tolkein, etc etc). Even eastern dragons have their moments. rambled too much, summarize and go back to watching more episodes!

Bubbles was both easy and hard. I knew she was to be of a nature based entity, but fairies are too generalized, and well.... I dont know too much about them. However a Nymph, which are representations of nature, seemed to fit. The opposite of that is a satyr, who are known to be forces of nature as well, though the beastial side. They are also known to chase said Nymphs too (though to rape em but we'll just ignore that). I didn't give him goat legs because I didn't feel like it, and the Romans were the ones to shove em on Satyrs.

Buttercup, AS PER USUAL, gave me the worst time trying to figure out what best fit her. She's not exactly the goodie goodie her sisters are, and I already used up the Christian Mythology card. It seemed that she best fit a Tengu, who was known for being a troublemaker, but they also served some positive roles in their myths. then I got lazy and chose an orge for Butch, so sue me.

And to end it all, have a bunny And not a playboy bunny like bleedman stuck the PPG in, urgh.
