In the spirit of that post of song calls I did a while ago, thought I'd mention a couple more since I happened to upload these songs recently:
Can You Feel the Love Tonight/I Won't Say (I'm Not In Love)/Let's Get Together/Belle - Disney's on the Record.
Listen/DLThe Haru/Tsuna song. It could only work better if it were the Japanese versions being sung by their VAs. (Also, a great house-cleaning song. If you have to tango with a vacuum cleaner, doing it to the 'Let's Get Together' part of the mash-up makes it a lot better.)
I Will Keep the Bad Things From You - The Damnwells.
DLThis used to be my Gamma/Zimmy song; it's beautiful, almost haunting, full of everyday co-dependence and bizarre at one point -- all of which fits them. Now, though, it's my general Homestuck song call for the concept of moirallegiance for pretty much the same reasons.
It is no longer suitable as a Zimmy/Gamma song because
IT'S TOO PLATONIC.
It is awesome how matter of fact, by the way they both are about this - no drama! - and also "that doesn't even BEGIN to describe those two". eek OTP
What Annie and Jack feel about each other is confusing. At first it looked like mutual flirting, now it looks like ... the hell? She actually does like him but he was only messing with her head? He would like her if he didn't have a semi-mind-controlled infatuation with Zimmy?
The spiders being in love with Zimmy ... that is not ideal. That is screamingly unokay. Jack saying it was 'almost' scary looks like a strong indication that he's still basically out of his shit. Tom's comment of "As good a reason as any to love someone." cracked me up though. Technically, I guess it is!
