Have you ever had a friend who was doing something that you don't really approve of, but you know your friend, you know the issues their dealing with and you know why they're doing what they're doing? So you can sit back and say: well yeah, I see why they're doing that. I guess it makes sense.
I wish people would remember that as they're throwing around judegments. Just remember that if you took the time to get to know the person you'd be able to understand and understanding makes judging more difficult.
Tia always wants to know, What do you stand for? And at first I thought I'd say compassion, but compassion is defined as pity with a desire to help and pity carries connotations of judgment. I think I'd have to say understanding instead. I think I want that tattooed on the back of my neck. Maybe i'll give that to myself as a graduation present.
