(no subject)
There's been a report of that flu here where I live. A 22 year old man is in intensive care. Taylin and I have been sick, but not really all that sick. But man you should have seen how quickly we got served in court yesterday when I showed up and told them we had the flu and Taylin was coughing all over the place. We were in and out in like 5 minutes. My tickets were dismissed. There was a mexican woman there with a name very similar to mine so when my name was called she went up too. That was kind of funny. She didn't speak any english though so she had to wait for an interpreter.
The other thing is I've gotten an invitation to join this honor society. In the paperwork it says they only invite juniors in the top 7% of their schools. I'm in the top 7% of my school!!! Ha ha! Not bad for a high school drop out eh? I want to take that letter and put it in the face of the high school counselor who suggested I look into being a truck driver. My dad's coming out for the induction ceremony and then we're all going to get portraits done together. I'm kind of proud of myself. Now watch my gpa will slip. Oh well, they can't take it away from me now... I hope.
